Camp Dayspring 2023 came to a close on June 28th and after 17 years it was my last camp as Director! Camp Dayspring was a huge success with 484 campers and more then 100 volunteers!
Over my years as Director, God has moved at camp and changed the lives of many students and young adults. This year was no different! Many campers became Christ Followers, were Baptized in the Holy Spirit and called to ministry! Camp Dayspring makes a difference in the lives of young people. One example this year: We had a camper show up to camp and they allowed God to change their life and attitude. Later in the week this camper told their counselor that they had planned to leave camp and take their life! Praise God for His intervention!
My prayer as I step away is that Camp Dayspring will flourish and continue to grow. Most of all camp will continue to impact the lives of campers! Lastly, I want to thank Bishop Mike and the leadership team at Cornerstone Conference who have been a tremendous support for me. Also, thank you to Camp Dayspring Staff and leaders who are the best around. As I’ve said many times, camp could not happen without your commitment.
